OUR STORY, TOLD WITH UNEARNED GRAVITAS
Three centuries of
watchmaking history.
We joined for the last three years.
1735
Nothing happens. We do not exist. Somewhere in Switzerland, a man invents something precise. Unrelated to us.
1876
Still nothing. The telephone is invented, so that one day your buddy can call and ask what time it is. Tell him nothing. Tell him $24.
1926
The 8-to-5 is invented. Man surrenders his time to the clock. The wristwatch becomes mandatory — not to know the time, but to prove you fear it. For a century, watches exist to make sure you're somewhere you don't want to be, on time.
1969
Man lands on the moon wearing a competitor's watch. We hold no grudge. NASA knows what it did.
2015
The smartwatch era begins. Watches learn to send texts. We take notes, and later, remove all of the features.
2023
THE FOUNDING. A man looks at a $47,000 watch, then at his wrist, then at $24, and has an idea so simple it is legally not an idea: a watch that tells time and admits it. After a century of watches telling man where to be, one watch finally tells him the truth — it's party time. Man reclaims his wrist. Precision Time Concepts is born in a spare room, which we now call "headquarters."
2024
First customer. We frame the receipt. The frame costs more than the watch. We hang it in the Museum (a drawer). Later that year, the quarry incident. We don't talk about the quarry incident. Tucker is fine.
2025
Expansion. The line grows to six colors, each containing the same watch. Analysts call it "a color decision."
2026
You're reading this. That's the history. Every second you keep reading, the history gets longer. You're welcome.
Meet the team
?
The Founder
Declines to be photographed. Wears the watch. Believes in it the way you believe in a joke you refuse to explain.
The Same Person
Director of Assembly. Also Director of Quality. Inspects his own work, approves of it, probably.
$0
The Intern
Unpaid. Hypothetical. Handles social media, shipping, and blame.
T
Tucker
Director of Quarry Relations. Duties unclear. Morale essential. The watch survived; so, reportedly, did he.
OUR MISSION
To put the correct time on every wrist in America, twice a day, guaranteed. Usually more.
